Beond is an innovative energy markets consultancy providing procurement services and renewable energy projects. We help our clients deal with energy challenges in a rapidly changing and complex market as new regulations and technologies are introduced in response to global climate change. Our service helps businesses keep their energy costs as low as possible within this complex environment.

We are recruiting an Energy Analyst to take responsibility for running energy tenders using our online reverse auctions and to provide contract management (bureau) services. This will involve working closely, and developing relationships, with account managers, consultants and energy suppliers.

The initial focus of the role will be to provide a high quality service to a number of account managers with responsibility for:

  • running their tenders
  • resolving their energy bureau tasks and dealing with their clients’ supply contract queries and issues
  • liaising, communicating and resolving issues and tasks internally with energy analysts and externally with energy suppliers
  • support to other energy analysts or management investigating new market issues and opportunities

The Energy Analyst will report to a Consulting Director and support the account managers and other energy analysts within the business.

In order to carry out these responsibilities it will be necessary to develop strong relationships with energy supplier contacts in regards to energy tender bids, and the prompt resolution of any contract management and bureau issues. It will be essential to have a desire to provide a high quality tender and bureau service, to be pro-active and have creative problem solving abilities to resolve issues.

We are looking for someone with university qualifications, a keen interest in energy and environmental markets and who can demonstrate past achievements.

Salary will commence at £25k per annum, with the prospect to increase as skills are developed and ability to deliver is demonstrated.

The role will be based in Chiswick, West London.
